We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for automating infrastructure, optimizing deployment processes, and ensuring system reliability and scalability. This role bridges the gap between development and operations, with a strong emphasis on CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and automation.
Location. This role is office-based at our Trivandrum, Kerala office.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for development, staging, and production environments.
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline code deployment and ensure reliable software delivery.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in cloud and on-premise environments.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and ensure its security, availability, and scalability.
- Set up and maintain observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
- Implement and manage container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS, Docker Swarm).
- Ensure compliance with security and data protection policies.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Solid knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi).
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with monitoring and logging systems (ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Knowledge of networking, security, and compliance best practices.
- Understanding of Agile development and DevOps methodologies.
- Certification in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or DevOps tools is a plus.
