About Us

Autonomous Cyber builds AI for offensive cyber. We’re building hacking systems from the ground up. Not just calling models, but controlling how agents think, coordinate, use tools, manage context, and work through complex, high-impact problems over long runs. It’s a small team, high ownership, lots of building and rebuilding, and a lot of fun if you’re excited to probe the limits of what LLMs can do.
We do real offense, and we move fast. If you want to engineer cutting-edge systems, go deep in the code, and help shape the product, you should drop us a note.

The Role

Our stack today is TypeScript and Electron, but this role is bigger than a stack.
We’re looking for an engineer who wants to go deep in code and deep in AI architecture, and who cares about using agents to accelerate development.
This role is not just about building the product. It’s also about building the technical engine of the company itself - growing AI automations, designing internal agent systems, and figuring out how AI and human engineers can work together effectively. You’ll build the product, but also build the systems that help us build the product faster.

What You’ll Do

Build core product and ship code
Architect and improve agent systems: orchestration, memory, context handling, tool calling, and reliability
Support current customer requests
Build internal AI automations and agent workflows that accelerate development
Help define the technical side of how the company operates as we grow
Help build tools that are not just powerful, but genuinely great to use

What We’re Looking For

Strong engineering instincts and comfort going deep technically
3+ years building and shipping code
Experience building agentic systems
Comfort with ambiguity, speed, and ownership
Interest in cyber and adversarial operations
Care for craft, usability, and building things people love using
You’ll write code, shape architecture, influence product, and help build the internal AI agent teams.
If that sounds interesting, let’s talk.
