HawkEye 360 is seeking a Senior Program Manager to join the Customer Success Management team. The CSM team is responsible for ensuring a customer is achieving their desired values with HawkEye 360 products or services and prioritizing long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty. Being a member of the CSM team takes a proactive approach, anticipating customer needs and providing support to ensure successful product usage and execution of existing programs/contracts.
This role would report within the International Program Management team, whose core responsibility is to own the execution of our contracts with International Customers (planning, execution, tracking) within a specified budget, utilizing a focus on program/internal project execution while making strategic decisions to support the customer, and ultimately being responsible for monitoring progress, maintaining deadlines and managing any program risk.
In addition to customer contract execution and coordination with their Program Management team, the Senior Program Manager will also interface with internal teams to effectively deliver contractual requirements and establish plans and risk mitigation efforts for ensuring customer success and possible future contract requirements.
As the Senior Program Manager, your main responsibilities will be:- Lead several customer-facing projects on the International portfolio and managing all contracts across a specified region of the world [e.g., Asia, Europe, Middle East, etc.]
- Manage and track all contractual requirements (PO, documentation, Program Review, deliverables, etc)
- Develop and execute a strategy to optimize operations, including collection planning and analysis support, as defined by the contract
- Support Capture Management for new contract/contract renewal
- Provide Finance necessary information for PO and Invoice management
- Work with CSM Solutions team to address any technical challenges to execute customer contracts
- Work with Order Management team to maximize satellite collection capacity for multiple programs
- Drive internal development efforts from engineering and product teams, as well as other functional groups throughout the company (such as finance, legal, and regulatory) as needed to identify, resource, complete, and deliver any development work needed to meet the program’s requirements.
- Advocate for the necessary resources and balance workloads with other company programs and priorities by articulating the business value.
- Identify risks to the customer’s mission success, mitigate, and proactively communicate with sales team, company leadership, and other stakeholders.
- Provide support to the Solutions team on developing the technical requirements for contract execution and renewal including identifying risks to operational execution as well as mission success for the customer
- Serve as the face to the customer, providing quality customer support and professional, constructive communication and planning.
- Travel to customer sites internationally for in-person meetings as needed for program execution
- Support calls during non-business hours when supporting international customers in different time zones.
- Maintain good relationships with contacts in key customer organizations with the goal of building and maintaining customer advocacy for the program.
Essential education and experience:
- 12+ years professional program management experience
- M.S. or B.S. in engineering, business, or another related field or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated effective management of requirements and deliveries for complex projects.
- Desire and ability to operate in environments without established structure and processes.
- Demonstrated success in leading or supporting multidisciplinary project teams executing to desired outcomes.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in professional and/or customer service settings
- 3 or more years professional experience in intelligence and/or defense-related communities.
- Experience in the space, geospatial, or electronic communications/signals processing industries.
- PMP Certification
- Experience working directly with customers.
