As a Recruiter at TENEX, you will play a critical role owning the end-to-end recruiting process while also supporting some core HR operations. You will be instrumental in attracting top engineering, security, sales, or operations talent, while building scalable HR programs that foster a high-performance culture. As a Recruiter at TENEX.AI, you will be responsible for scaling teams across all levels—from Interns/Entry Level to Leadership—within one of the following key organizations:

  • GoToMarket (Sales and Customer Success for all locations)

  • Security Operations (KC and Sarasota SOC)

Location: Our office is located in Overland Park, KS.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for technical, go-to-market and back office roles, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, and closing candidates.

  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, success profiles, and assessment processes.

  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to identify passive candidates, leveraging networks, social platforms, and industry channels.

  • Drive an exceptional candidate experience, representing TENEX’s mission, culture, and values.

  • Manage recruiting tools, systems, and reporting to track pipeline health and optimize hiring processes.

  • Support onboarding and off-boarding processes, ensuring smooth employee transitions.
    Maintain HR systems and employee records with accuracy and compliance.

  • Act as a first point of contact for employee relations questions, escalating issues when necessary.

  • Partner with leadership to implement HR policies, performance management, and culture-building initiatives.

  • Support other HR functions including learning & development, engagement surveys, and other people operations programs, as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting, ideally for cybersecurity, SaaS, or AI-driven companies.

  • Strong sourcing skills with a track record of filling niche and high-demand roles.

  • Ability to assess both technical skills and cultural fit in fast-moving hiring environments.

  • Familiarity with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern sourcing tools.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust with candidates and employees.

  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Collaborative and solutions-oriented, with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” startup mindset.

  • Passionate about people, culture, and building teams that can scale.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • HR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) are a plus but not required.
